Our Story
Once upon a time there was a family who accidentally purchased two, week old, Nigerian Dwarf/Pygmy goats…
OK, it wasn’t really an accident BUT it was very, VERY, unplanned. Those two goats ended up running around our living room, in diapers, chewing everything in sight, for three months (I can’t say that I recommend this approach =]). During those first months, we took in all of the goat information we could get our hands on and fell wildly, deeply, and irreversibly in love with “Simon” and “Blue”. While researching goats we came across the Mini Nubian breed and quickly decided that was the breed for us!
We purchased our first two MDGA registered Mini Nubian Does in early 2019 and brought in our MDGA registered Mini Nubian Buck in mid 2020. Our commitment to the Mini Nubian breed will always be to produce happy healthy goats, with a focus on milk and udders and a goal of always improving conformation. We will only choose breeding plans that we feel improve the breed in some way.
All of our goats are tested for CAE, CL, and Johne’s and our breeding goats are G6S normal, by test or parentage.
We promise to never stop learning, growing, and bettering our program.
